Funny Way to Spend Christmas Day

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

I was browsing the Internet last week, looking for shirts to give to my annoying brothers (but I love them!) for Christmas. They love those really loose, hip-hop kind-of-thing shirts with brands that I cannot afford. I really feel that buying designer clothes are a waste of money since they are subject to tear. Consistent machine washing of clothes will do just that. So I settled for funny t shirts that are so cheap, I bought each of them 2 pieces.

Ron was a Medium, I am pretty sure of it but he feels so macho and I got him the large one in Pink with words written in big letter: BOYS LIE on top of girls; and that cracked him up real bad. He even gave me a hug. My favorite shirt for Sammy was the black one in Extra Large which wrote: I’M SORRY HONEY, I CAN’T HEAR YOU WITHOUT A BEER IN MY HAND. Even Lizzie, my sister in law, thought the shirt was hilarious!

My mom then asked me where I bought the funny shirts because she wanted to get some for my dad. I told her about the site and not one minute she ordered a dozen for the both of them. Her words were: Why are these shirts so cheap??? My mom is a frugal buyer and loved the comfy tees instantly!

Loved My Friends With The Arizona Wedding Band

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

The last job that I really liked, was working for a Phoenix private party band. I would help them advertise book jobs and set up and tear down at their gigs. I loved every person in the band and we all got along great. They became known as one of the best Arizona wedding music bands around.

I had to quit my job with the best Phoenix private party band because my wife’s company was transferring her to the east coast and she could not pass up the opportunity. I have kept in touch with everyone in the group and am glad to hear that they are now known as the best Arizona wedding music band in town. I am so proud of them and know that they are all very talented people who deserve all the success in the world.

Selling Safety And Janitorial Supplies

Monday, April 26th, 2010

I started a new business, right out of my own home. I live on ten acres and have four outbuildings that used to be sitting empty. Then, I got the idea to start selling janitorial supplies and safety supplies. I had worked for a company that did that and I know that they did not have too much competition until I started up my business. I recruited a lot of my family to help get it up and running and now they are all full time employees.

We are one of the top ten distributers of janitorial supplies and safety supplies in our region. I love working for myself and would never want to go back to having a boss. Running your own business and having the freedom to set your own hours, is really great.

My Office Supply Store Is Very Successful

Monday, April 26th, 2010

I knew that wherever I moved to with my husband, that I could still run a successful online office supply store. I had made sure to have the warehouse full of office supplies be built right in the middle of the country so that any orders that came in, could be filled and sent from a centrally located area.

We have moved at least four times with my husband’s job over the last ten years and my office supply store site has never taken a hit from it. I love selling office supplies, as long as I have a computer and an internet connection, I am able to work. It has made it easier on my husband, every time he has to come home and tell me that we have to relocate yet again.

Hiring A Professional PA Remodeling Contractor

Friday, April 16th, 2010

I am hoping that not all kitchen remodelers are this hard to get a hold of, I called two places and they just had answering machines. I need to have the best and most professional kitchen remodelers to work for my clients. I was hired to help some friends of ours get the kitchen they have always wanted and they want it all done while they are away for business, the whole month of May.

I decided to contact a PA remodeling contractor that I found online and see if they would be interested in the job. I got an email response very quickly from the PA remodeling contractor and that made me feel very positive about the whole thing.

They are paying me a commission of ten percent of the job and an extra five hundred dollars if I can get the PA remodeling contractor that I hire to stay under a certain amount for everything that they want done. I do not want to hire the cheapest guy necessarily, but someone who will do a good affordable quality job and also earn me a bonus. I have about a month and a half to get everything set up, the kitchen done and cleaned up before my clients return home.

They Needed Help From an Organic Pest Control Expert

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Two years ago I remember my in laws purchasing some property just for an investment. In Tampa, you can find some swamp land sometimes for a good price and if you know the right people, you can sell it for a profit. When they put it on the market they got a couple of hits right away, the only problem with it was that they wanted my in laws to provide extensive pest control services because the bugs were really bad.

That was not something my in laws were expecting to have to do. They were frustrated until I told them that a friend of mine worked for a really good organic pest control company just on the other side of town. They seemed really interested so I called my buddy and had him tell his boss to give us a quote.

Within a few days they were hired and had the place treated for pests and everyone was happy. They closed the deal on the land and my in laws made a good profit. I am not sure how long they may have sat on the land if it was not for the pest control service that was provided by the pest company.

Working With Structured Settlements

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

I took a new job and it has not been too easy. I work in an office that helps people who have structured settlements, sell them and then walk away with more of the money at one time. I know that many years ago, my grandmother did something similar and my parents had to help her find someone to sell structured settlement payments to. I believe that they ended up going out of state to use a company that they all felt would do a good job and get the results that my grandmother was looking for.

It took quite a while for my grandmother to get the structured settlements issue resolved but I remember her having a big party when it was all said and done. I am sure that some of the people that I am currently working with will be doing the same. It can be very frustrating during the waiting time, but it usually works out in the end. I have a hard time seeing people be so upset but I am getting better with that.

My boss is a really great guy and he has been working with people to sell structured settlement payments for the last twenty years and he has seen it all. If I have any type of question, he always has the answer.

Showing Off The Free Mobile Sports

Monday, April 12th, 2010

My new phone, offered me mobile TV channels and I used it all the time. I had never had internet or anything like that before and had decided to finally jump into the twenty first century. I had seen some of my friends watch free mobile sports on their phones, and I thought that I could really use that.

I walked into the cell phone store that I had been in many times, to pay my bill and started asking questions about what kind of phone would be best to watch mobile TV channels on. There were a few that the clerk recommended and I chose the one that was the most expensive. I figured that if it cost more, it would have better sound and a better picture too.

I took home my new phone and showed off the fact that I could watch free mobile sports on my phone, to all of my roommates. I knew that none of them had that kind of capability on their old dinosaur phones, but I was knew that by the end of the week, they would all be getting new phones since they thought mine was so cool. Then we would all be up to date on the latest cell phones, for now.
