Using One Of Four Local Moving Companies
Of the four local moving companies that I contacted, there were only two that considered themselves packing companies also. The rest would only walk in and pick up what you already had put into boxes, or they would just carry things out. I wanted someone who would actually fill up a box and then take it out. I have lived in this house for over forty years and I know that I need all the help that I could get when I started this move.
I chose one of the local moving companies that were also packing companies and set the date for when the big move would take place. I was getting nervous and excited to think about being in a new home. The new place was quite a bit smaller than my current house but I am having a sale, shortly before the moving date to try and reduce the amount of things that I take with me. The day before the sale, my kids are going to come by and see if there is anything that they want, before I sell it.
I am looking forward to this move but the amount of work that it is going to take on my part, and the movers, will be a lot. I hope that the movers know what they are in for.
